The goal of the Kickstart SOC 2 course is to bring you up to speed and provide you with knowledge and skills to successfully kickstart a SOC 2 Compliance Project. Together we explore the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria, guide you on how to match internal controls to SOC 2 criteria, and teach the skills required to interpret a SOC 2 audit report. Furthermore, you will gain insights into utilizing a design sprint methodology to expedite your SOC 2 project within a four-day timeframe.

- How to efficiently and effectively set-up a SOC 2 Compliance Project?
- Which aspects do you consider when determining your SOC 2 scope?
- How to determine which Trust Services Criteria are relevant for your services?
- How to build a control framework and set-up a gap-assessment?
- How to expand your SOC 2 audit scope to incorporate future compliance obligations or compliance ambitions?

Who is this course for?
This training is intended for anyone working for a service organization either in a Management, Security, Risk or Compliance role and seeking to enhance their expertise on SOC 2. You are either working for a hosting party, a SaaS supplier, a payroll company or any organization providing services based on data and technology and initiating a SOC 2 Compliance project to achieve a SOC 2 audit report.
After the course you will receive a Kickstart SOC 2 certificate that can be used to request 5-PE points at NOREA, the Dutch professional IT Auditors association.
